Palace Project Team member Amy Myers is a writer of distinction with more than 50 novels and collections of short stories published in her name – or in those of her alter egos: Harriet Hudson and Laura Daniels.

A specialist in mystery, historical saga and romance novels, often with a culinary flavour, Amy has found time out from her ‘day job’ to record and document the Charing Palace Project’s progress in our quest to restore, revive and revitalise the Palace.

Caught-up in the romance of Charing Archbishop Palace’s story, Amy has additionally researched and written a series of short stories that highlight some of the major events and prominent people associated with the Palace throughout its 1200-year history.

Published here under the collective title of Charing Tales, Amy will be adding further stories over the coming months, giving life and colour to Charing Archbishop’s Palace’s story and underscoring its historical significance.
